I’m based in Tokyo and relatively new to motorcycles. I am a short rider, I’m 163cm, 45kg, with a 28″ inseam.

My Story
I got my chuugata license (<400 cc) in January 2025 and my oogata license (unlimited cc) in March 2026. I currently ride a Honda CBR 250RR.
When I first started riding, I spent a lot of time researching which motorcycle would fit me. I found it difficult going across different websites and platforms and getting mostly men’s reviews. 1 review from a fellow female rider is worth 10x articles written by men. As a short rider, I also found it difficult to find fit information, and often need to ask other riders for their opinion.
That’s why I made AelloRide — to make it easier to review and compare women’s riding gear, and to share sizing and fit notes on motorcycles from test rides. I will be comparing information across multiple websites, Japanese and other retailers, brand sites, reviews from Japanese riders, and collect information from my friends.
My Motivation
I also want to share my experience riding across Japan. I ride both touge and road around Tokyo. There are many amazing roads across the four seasons in Japan. I found many riders (foreign riders in Japan, or tourists looking for rental in Japan) find it challenging to get English content and information, and ask repeated questions about riding. If I find time, I hope to compile a list of resources and guides that will help all riders access the wonderful riding experience that Japan has to offer.
