TCX Blend 2 WP Women’s Motorcycle Boots (4 out of 5) — Great Style for Work, but “It Depends”
Recommendations First
4 out of 5 stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Why Buy the TCX Blend 2 WP Women’s Motorcycle Boots: These are my go-to choice for days when I want to ride into the office without changing outfit. They look stylish, add useful height, and feel secure on the bike. But the narrow fit, stiff ankle area, and lace-only design make them less practical than they could be.

Buy if: you want a stylish women’s motorcycle boot that works with work or business casual outfits, adds some height, and feels secure on the bike.
Skip if: you have wide feet, medium to high arches, want maximum convenience, or need something easy to walk around in all day.
I wear a Size 36 and bought from FC-Moto for ¥25,500 (incl. tax). I normally wear Size 6 from NIKE Air. In Japanese I am Size 225. Read more about my size measurements at About Me.
The TCX Blend 2 WP Women’s Motorcycle Boots is one of the best-looking women’s motorcycle boots I’ve tried. I have these in black. It feels protective, polished, and much more wearable off the bike than most traditional riding boots. But the narrow fit, wide toe box area, and loose lace system stop it from being 100% perfect.
I like that the heel adds ~3.5cm heel height. For reference, with my 28-inch inseam, I could almost flat-foot a 790 mm seat height CBR250RR when wearing these boots. That alone adds a lot of confidence for shorter riders.
At the same time, these boots run narrow. I know I do not have wide feet (I wear Onitsuka Tigers sneakers comfortably), but even then, my right foot feels squeezed and painful after about half a day of wear. So while I like them a lot aesthetically and for riding support, I would not recommend them for riders with wide feet.

Who and What is the TCX Blend 2 WP good for?
I was looking for a women’s motorcycle boot to go into office with. Something I could ride to work in, keep on during the day, and still feel put together in. That is where the TCX Blend 2 WP Women’s Motorcycle Boots stood out to me mostly because it is subtle in design and in my opinion fits best as a business casual footwear for casual days in the office.
A lot of women’s riding footwear looks too casual or goes too far in looking technical for the track. The TCX Blend 2 WP sits nicely here. It has a sleek vintage-inspired look that blends in a more formal outfit, a higher cut that works well with leggings or tucked-in pants, and enough visible structure to remind you this is still meant to be protective.

Brand story
TCX has become one of the more interesting names for women’s motorcycle footwear because they are actually building products around a women-specific fit concept instead of just shrinking men’s boots. The Blend 2 WP WMN follows TCX’s Woman Fitting Concept, with female-specific fit combined with protective reinforcements at the shin, toe, heel and gearbox area.
On paper, the formula is exactly what many urban riders want: waterproof protection, ankle support, comfortable insoles, and a sole that is meant to balance riding sensitivity with walking comfort. In practice, I think TCX got a lot of that right — especially in terms of design and on-bike structure — but there are still some practicality issues that stop it from being perfect.
Final verdict: 4.0/5.0
The TCX Blend 2 WP WMN is one of the most stylish women’s motorcycle boots I’ve worn. I really like it for days when I have to go business casual and want to ride a motorcycle — but the narrow fit makes it a selective recommendation.
They look good, feel protective, and the added height is very useful for shorter riders who have a tall seat. But the fit is narrow, and it hurts my right foot after half a day. For ladies with wider feet, it might not be that comfortable.
- If you want a stylish boot for commuting, café rides, or going to work without changing shoes, this is a strong option.
- If you have wide feet, medium to high arches, or will find it annoying to deal with laces, I would skip these.
- The added heel height is a real plus for shorter riders and gave me noticeably more confidence at stops.
- If TCX improves the width comfort and lace practicality in the next version, this could get very close to perfect.
What Size Fits Me?
I wear a Size 36 in TCX and Dainese, normally wear Size 6 from Nike Air, and in Japanese sizing I am around 225. With my 28-inch inseam, these boots gave me enough added reach that I could almost flat foot a 790 mm seat height CBR250RR.

How Does the TCX Blend 2 WP Look? What Outfit or Style Does It Go With? (5/5)
Yes. This is where the Blend 2 WP WMN wins hard. The design is sleek, subtle, and stylish enough that I can wear it to work without feeling like I need to immediately change shoes. That is rare for motorcycle boots.
It goes really well with a pair of black pants/leggings/jeans. The higher cut also makes it easy to achieve the tuck-in look, which gives a cleaner and more polished look than lower-cut riding shoes. It feels very “urban women rider” to me — protective enough for commuting and city riding, but polished enough that it does not ruin the rest of your outfit.
I also like that they add a bit of height. For shorter riders, this is not just a fashion point. With my 28-inch inseam, I could almost flat-foot a 790 mm seat height CBR250RR in these boots, which makes handling and parking more comfortable. 3.5cm makes a whole lot of difference.
What Size to Get? How does the TCX Blend 2 WP Fit? (3/5)
This is the biggest drawback. These boots are quite narrow. I do not have wide feet, as a comparison, I feel super comfortable in Onitsuka Tiger which is known to be a pair of narrow shoes. But even so, because of how hard the shell of the shoe is for protection purposes, my right foot is slightly wider than my left and I start to feel squeezed and it kind of starts to hurt after wearing the TCX Blend 2 WP for about half a day in the office. For that reason alone, I would not recommend these to anyone with wide feet.
The fit issue does not seem to be just width, but also for people with high arches. One RevZilla reviewer commented on the TCX Blend 2 WP:
“Cute but not for those with medium to high arches. I have to admit I was hesitant about the style but rolled the dice. They actually look better in person, so much so that I wish I could have made these work. Unfortunately they were too tight on my arch, and too loose around my calves. The top of my foot was squeezed way too tight, I loosened the laces, tried walking around them in my house to stretch a bit but in the end I realized the best option was to return them and find a boot that fit better. I normally wear an 8 and bought a 39, length wise they were perfect and the soles were comfy. Just wish they made room for people with arches.”
That comment lines up very closely with my experience. Length-wise, the sizing is fine. Width-wise, it is much more selective. The insoles themselves are super soft, and I do think TCX did a good job with underfoot comfort. But softness underfoot does not fully solve pressure from the narrow upper.

Is the TCX Blend 2 WP Good Quality? Easy to Maintain? (5/5)
No real complaints here. The TCX Blend 2 WP WMN feels like a quality product. The leather, structure, sole, and protective parts all feel solid and well put together. Nothing about it gives off “cheap fashion boot pretending to be motorcycle gear.”
It feels structured in a reassuring way, especially around the ankle and heel. The boot holds its shape well, which helps it feel protective when riding. Based on both the official construction and my own use, this is a well-made pair.
How does the TCX Blend 2 WP Ride and Protect? (4/5)
Maybe I like these more than I like them for walking — It still feels like a proper motorcycle boot, not just a stylish leather ankle boot. It is CE-certified and has reinforcement around the shin, toe, heel, and shift area. The waterproof membrane is also useful for unpredictable weather, and adds to the “grab-and-go” practicality of the boot. I would not call them an ideal hot-summer boot if ventilation is high on your priority list.
The boot feels planted and structured on the bike. There is a nice sense of support around the foot and ankle, and it does not feel flimsy at all. The ankle protection is one of the things I like about this pair. The hard protective piece around the ankle feels secure and confidence-inspiring. The soles are fairly stiff, which helps with support and shifting, but they are curved just enough that walking is still manageable. That slight rocker shape makes a difference.
My one riding-specific gripe is the toe shape. The toe box feels a bit tall and bulky, so depending on the bike model, it does not always slide neatly under the shift pedal. On my setup, the heel area hooks onto the rear pegs nicely, but the toe sometimes catches in the gaps and I have to angle my foot outwards a little to shift properly. I do not have this problem with the Scoyco, TCX Street, or Dainese Metractive Air Ladies sneakers. It is not a deal-breaker, but it is annoying enough to mention.
Smaller point, but there is no lace retention system or compartment to tuck them away securely. That makes me feel a little less confident than I would like when riding.

Is the TCX Blend 2 WP Practical? Comfortable? Can I Walk Off-bike? (3/5)
I think the style is meant to be not so practical. Adding a zipper would not maintain the looks of this boot, so I’m fine with that. However, the ankle area is quite stiff. That is good for structure and protection when riding, but when walking around off the bike, it can feel a bit uncomfortable. Not painful exactly, just more restrictive than the stylish appearance might suggest.
Also, the laces are thin. They look nice, and I understand why TCX chose them for the aesthetic, but in real use I find myself having to repeatedly tighten them quite a bit when there’s a lot of walking.
So yes, these look great off the bike. But they are not actually the most convenient boot to live with day to day.

Ending words
All in all, I do not regret getting TCX Blend 2 WP, in fact I would really recommend ladies to try them if they are looking for black boots to go with certain outfits. It is one of the rare pairs I would happily wear to work without feeling the need to change immediately, and feel confident style-wise, protection-wise, and height-wise.
However, there are clear caveats. The fit is narrow enough that I think many riders should be cautious. If you have wide feet, medium to high arches, or simply hate lace-only boots, I would skip these.
If your feet usually run narrow to regular and you prioritize design, structure, and a bit of extra reach to the ground, these are definitely worth a look.
